"I've been meeting with the groups - they have their first group assignment due this week. It's interesting that they're more likely to meet with me now that we're completely online compared to when I had an actual office to come to." While my colleagues Therese Shelton, Southwestern University, Geortetown TX USA, and Patrice Tiffany, Manhattan College, Riverdale NY USA, have found that in using small group work on line, e.g., BreakOut Rooms in ZOOM, students are more likely to ask questions and engage than in the physical class room.
